PEN’s 15th Wine & Spirits Tasting is cancelled
While we were eagerly anticipating PEN’s Annual Wine & Spirits Tasting, we have a bit of a twist to share—unfortunately, the event won’t take place this year.
Yes, we’re sorry to say, you heard that right—no glasses to clink, no wines to swirl, no spirits to savor. After much thought, we couldn’t in good conscience spend our time planning an event while so many of us are dealing with the devastation caused by the fire. And, that makes your support even more important.
Just because we’re not gathering this year, doesn’t mean the spirit of the event is gone. While we might not raise our glasses together, we can still have a toast to something equally important: rather than honoring a few parents at the event, here’s a virtual toast to all the parents who have shown resilience, dedication, and an unwavering commitment to all of our students throughout these past few months.
PEN’s mission continues even though the Wine Tasting isn’t happening this spring. So, if you’re able, please make a donation so we can continue to support and inform families and schools. Your donation will ensure that we can come back next year to share a glass or two…together!
Your donation of $150 (the price of two Wine Tasting tickets) to join the PEN Parent Leaders Circle also includes an invitation for two to attend a PEN cocktail reception with PUSD’s superintendent Dr. Elizabeth Blanco and special recognition on the PEN website.
