PUSD will be gathering School Site Council Leaders for a District level Advisory Council (DAC). The first KICK -OFF Meeting will be held October 30th from 5:30 - 7:00PM. Parent and site leaders are encouraged to attend. Please register here - and spread the word!
The DAC represents the School Site Councils (SSCs) from across the District. Each SSC is made up of parent and teacher/staff representatives, elected by their peers, who work with their principal to develop and monitor their school’s comprehensive Single Plan for Student Achievement. This “SPSA” or “school plan” includes budget decisions and using input from other school advisory committees, such as the English Learners Advisory Committee (ELAC).
